Marin Needle Arts Guild
P.O. Box 6015, San Rafael, CA 94903

The Marin Needle Arts Guild brings together quilters, needle and fiber artists. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in the Needle Arts.

Our goal is to promote the Needle Arts through education. We are continuing our efforts to build our membership and teach others a variety of skills. There will be workshop classes the 3rd Saturday of most months. Members are always available to help anyone interested in learning a new skill, or improving their techniques. Beginners are encouraged to come join us for a fun filled day of learning and productivity.

New Quilting Class:

We started a beginning Quilt class -- "Quilting 101" in February where all skill levels were invited. The class is held at Aldersgate Church, Social Hall from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on the first Monday of the month. Contact us for additional information.

Our 2014 Opportunity/Raffle Quilt(s) are at the Marin Fair with all the other needle work on display. Plan to stop by and view them and buy your chance to win. Proceeds benefit our outreach programs.

July 19th there will be presentation by Suzi Parron about the "Barn Quilts Across America". Want to learn more about how the project started then plan to attend. Suzi has written a book and her slide presentation should be most enjoyable.

Homeward Bound of Marin, a homeless sheter in Marin will be the recipient of quilts that members are making using our BOM blocks. Carol who is coordinating the BOM has her sample quilt almost ready to unveil. If you want to catch up and participate just let us know.

Check out our Outreach Page for photos of some of the items we donated in 2013! Look for more items to be donated in 2014.
